Jaclyn Ford, a graduate student in Cognitive Psychology, is the 2013 recipient of the Earl and Barbara Baughman Dissertation Research Award.

The purpose of this award is to promote and support innovative dissertation research in our department. The award honors Earl and Barbara Baughman for their many contributions to our department over the years and provides partial summer support to these students as they continue their work on their dissertation.

Jaclyn’s research focuses on autobiographical memory retrieval in healthy, older adults and older adults diagnosed with mild cognitive impairments, including early Alzheimer’s. Jaclyn is interested in identifying how older adults exhibit impairments in their autobiographical memory retrieval relative to younger adults.
