Dr. Jessica Cohen, an Assistant Professor of Cognitive Psychology, is the recipient of a 2016 National Institutes of Health R61/R33 subcontract grant with the Kennedy Krieger Institute.

The Exploratory/Developmental Grant (R61) provides support for the first phase of an award while the Exploratory/Developmental Grant Phase II (R33) provides support the second phase. These grants are used to support innovative exploratory and development research activities.

Dr. Cohen received a total award of over $85,000 (over five years) for her project, “Physiologic Mechanisms of Mindful Movement in Children with ADHD.”
